چکیده

a 3*2*2 factorial experiment was conducted to study the effect of feeding whole wheat (0, 10, and 20%), a microbial enzyme source (arabino-xylanase based enzyme for wheat at 0% and 0.1%) and 0% or 1% insoluble grit (number 3 layer size) on the performance of white leghorn hens at 19 to 54 weeks of age. each dietary treatment was replicated four times with ten hens, housed two to a cage, each. no main treatment effects or interactions were observed for egg production, feed efficiency, egg weight, body weight gain, or mortality. feeding 20% whole wheat produced the lowest incidence of cracked, broken, or soft shelled eggs. adding the enzyme significantly (p

Productive Performance of Laying Hens Fed Different Levels of Distillers Dried Grains with Solubles with or without Certain Feed Additives

The objective of this work was to evaluate the inclusion of distillers dried grains with solubles (DDGS) as substitution for soybean meal in Hisex Brown laying hen diets with or without enzyme or vitamin E supplementation on productive performance. A total number of 180 Hisex Brown laying hens at 26 weeks of age were randomly divided into 15 treatment groups in a 5 × 3 factorial design experime...

Evaluation of Dietary Multiple Enzyme Preparation (Natuzyme) in Laying Hens

The current experiment was designed to evaluate the efficacy of adding the multi-enzyme mixture (Natuzyme) into layers' diets with different levels of energy and available phosphorus in relation to laying performance, egg qualities, blood cholesterol level, microflora and intestinal viscosity. Two hundred and fifty 43-wk-old Hy-Line commercial layers were divided into five groups with five repl...

Influence of dried tomato pomace as an alternative to wheat bran in maize or wheat based diets, on the performance of laying hens and traits of produced eggs

In a 2  3  2 factorial arrangement, 144, fifty–four-week-old laying hens, in 12 treatments with 12 replicates for each treatment, received one of 12 diets based on maize or wheat containing three levels of dried tomato pomace (DTP: 0, 50 and 100 g/kg) as a substitute for wheat bran, and two levels of pigment (0 and 900 mg/kg), for 9 weeks. Weight gain (WG), egg production (EP), egg weight (EW...

Sequential feeding using whole wheat and a separate protein-mineral concentrate improved feed efficiency in laying hens.

The effect of feeding nutritionally different diets in sequential or loose-mix systems on the performance of laying hen was investigated from 16 to 46 wk of age. Equal proportions of whole wheat grain and protein-mineral concentrate (balancer diet) were fed either alternatively (sequential) or together (loose-mix) to ISA Brown hens. The control was fed a complete layer diet conventionally. Each...

Replacing Dietary Corn with Bakery By-products Supplemented with Enzyme and Evaluating Performance of Laying Hens

The objectives of this experiment were to investigate effects of dietary replacement of maize with bakery by-product (BB) with or without enzyme supplementation on the performance of laying hens and egg quality characteristics. A total number of one hundred and eighty 87-week-old Hy-Line Leghorn hens, with an average laying rate of 56.7±3.8% (late production phase) and 1470±14 g live body weigh...
